    USP Water System Modernization

    What Kobe did

    Led the modernization of a global technology pilot plant’s USP purified water system, a critical GMP utility supporting product development and pilot manufacturing. Directed engineering, facilities, validation, vendors and stakeholders through the modernization and P&ID revisions, and implemented a real-time operational dashboard.

    Outcome

    24/7 visibility into system performance, and stronger operational reliability, maintenance effectiveness and regulatory compliance for the utility.

    Designed a standardized, end-to-end commercialization operating framework for a $6B North America oral care portfolio, aligning Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Finance around one execution model, with simpler governance, standard workflows and predictive analytics.

    Led the relocation of a critical packaging supplier from Canada to the United States, directing supplier qualification, process validation and cross-functional coordination.

    Recyclable Tube Commercialization Initiative

    What Kobe did

    Led supplier qualification and resin validation for a recyclable packaging initiative, partnering with R&D, Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and external suppliers to qualify recyclable resin systems.

    Outcome

    Enabled the commercialization of sustainable packaging technology and advanced enterprise sustainability goals.

    EHS · Compliance · 2015–2016

    Environmental Compliance & Sustainability Program

    What Kobe did

    Supported environmental compliance, permitting, sustainability and EHS programs across a global technology center spanning research laboratories, pilot manufacturing and offices, including zero-waste initiatives, LEED certification efforts, environmental permitting, asbestos and lead remediation projects and site-wide safety campaigns.

    Outcome

    Stronger regulatory compliance and operational stewardship across the site.

  7. 07

    Laboratory operations · 2006–2009

    Product Stability Laboratory Transformation

    What Kobe did

    Redesigned laboratory workflows, standardized stability testing processes and improved sample management for a product development organization.

    Outcome

    Significantly improved laboratory efficiency, and contributed to Kobe receiving the New Jersey Cooperative Education Association (NJCEA) Student of the Year Award.
